Cancellation and Refund Policy

This Cancellation and Refund Policy governs purchases of paid subscriptions and services provided by Team Spawn Inc. (“TeamSpawn”, “we”, “us”, “our”) on teamspawn.com and related applications.

Payments, subscriptions, and merchant of record compliance are securely processed through our authorized payment processors, including Creem (creem.io).

1. Free & 100% Open Interactive Sandbox (Try Before You Buy)

To provide complete transparency and ensure our software fulfills your exact operational requirements before making any financial commitment, TeamSpawn offers a 100% open, fully populated interactive sandbox:

We strongly advise and encourage all prospective Customers to explore the interactive sandbox thoroughly to verify that the Service meets their organizational needs prior to subscribing.

2. Subscription Billing & Automatic Renewal

• Recurring Billing: TeamSpawn plans (Business, Growth, Enterprise) are billed on a recurring monthly basis in advance, commencing on the date of your initial subscription.
• Currency & Taxes: Pricing is denominated in either United States Dollars (USD) or Euros (EUR) depending on the customer's geographic location detected at checkout. Applicable sales tax, Value Added Tax (VAT), or goods and services taxes are calculated and displayed at checkout.
• Automatic Renewal: To maintain seamless team operations and project allocations, your subscription automatically renews at the beginning of each billing cycle unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.
• Instant Digital Access: Upon successful transaction confirmation by our payment processor, digital access to your provisioned workspace is delivered immediately.

3. Cancellation Policy: Cancel Anytime

You may cancel your recurring subscription at any time, with zero fees or penalties:

• Instant Self-Service Cancellation: Cancellation is entirely self-service and immediate. You can cancel at any time directly within TeamSpawn by navigating to Organizations → Billing and clicking the cancel button.
• No Manual Email Processing: Because cancellation is fully automated, instantaneous, and available 24/7 directly inside your account, cancellation requests sent via email or contact forms are not accepted as valid notices of cancellation. This eliminates human processing delays and ensures your cancellation takes effect exactly when you intend.
• Effective Date: Cancellation prevents any future renewal charges. Your credit or debit card will never be charged again.
• Uninterrupted Access: Following cancellation, you and your squad retain full, unrestricted access to your workspace, tools, and stored data until the final day of your current paid billing period.

4. Refund Policy: No Partial or Retroactive Refunds

Because TeamSpawn delivers immediate digital access upon purchase and provides a complete, unrestricted public sandbox environment for evaluation prior to contracting:

• All subscription fees paid are non-refundable once billed.
• We do not offer partial, pro-rated, or retroactive refunds for unused days within a billing period, unused seats, or early cancellation prior to the expiration of the billing cycle.
• Downgrading your plan or reducing seat volume takes effect at the commencement of your next billing cycle. No credits or refunds are provided for seat reductions made mid-cycle.

5. Statutory Rights & European Union Compliance (Spain, France & EU)

For consumers residing within the European Union (including Spain and France):

• Directive 2011/83/EU, Spanish RDL 1/2007 & French Code de la consommation: Under Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights (and national implementing legislation, including the Spanish Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007 and the French Code de la consommation, art. L. 221-28 13°):

  The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (droit de rétractation / derecho de desistimiento) does not apply to contracts for the supply of digital content or software services not supplied on a tangible medium if performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgment that they lose their right of withdrawal once performance has started.

• Express Acknowledgment: By subscribing and accessing the Service, you expressly consent to the immediate provision of the digital software service and acknowledge that your statutory right of withdrawal is waived upon workspace provisioning, having had the unrestricted opportunity to inspect and test the Service in the public sandbox.

6. United States Consumer Protection (ROSCA & FTC Compliance)

For customers residing within the United States:

• In adherence to the Restore Online Shoppers' Confidence Act (ROSCA) and applicable state automatic renewal laws (including California ARL):
  • All material subscription terms and cancellation mechanisms are disclosed clearly and conspicuously prior to payment confirmation.
  • Customers may cancel automatically online directly from account navigation (Organizations → Billing) at any time without mandatory phone calls or cumbersome procedures.
  • Receipt of payment and cancellation confirmation will be dispatched to your registered email immediately upon processing.

7. Billing Discrepancies & Chargebacks

If you notice an unexpected charge or believe an error has occurred with your billing, please contact our support team at support@teamspawn.com prior to initiating a dispute or chargeback with your financial institution.

We investigate all legitimate billing inquiries diligently and work directly with our merchant of record partner, Creem, to promptly review and rectify verified billing errors.
